Good Design...Benefits of paying for Graphic Design

The best way to gain is to pay!
As a graphic designer with over 5 years of active design experience and still counting, I have heard questions from SMEs and individuals like,
what are you designing?
Is it not just to put it together?
Aha shebi it's design na?
Bro, do am for me free na? (Bro do it free for me)
and several other funny questions.
Do you know that:
- Arnell Group redesigned Pepsi's logo to the tune of $1 million in 2008?
- BBC redesigned their logo $1.8 million
- BP (a British multinational oil and gas company ) spent $211 million for its logo design in 2008?
- The Olympics 2012 organizing committee shelled out £400,000—translating to about $625,000—for what turned out to be a very controversial logo.
- And other SME brands spend between the range of $1,000 to $50,000 for logo and other designs.
Most of the brands you see, admire and are crazy about all focus a great deal on their graphical image representation, remember the quality you give out determines the quality you get.
So the question is WHY SHOULD YOU PAY?
#1. Value: The quality you give determines the quality you attract; look for those who have sought free jobs, free services or wanting to pay half for full value, ask them the outcome.
#2. Growth: If you seek to grow as a brand, then you cannot but invest in people and resources to give your brand the needed healthy meal.
#3. Karma is real: So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you - Matt7:12 (NIV)

Lemme stop here.
I am telling you I can offer you designs that won't make you break the bank or overshoot your budget, but YOU MUST PAY!
